Tune in at 2:45 PM ET as Celtic takes on Juventus. Rob Sturney will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Whew! Glad I could make it! We've had some problems with our liveblog platform.
I'm Rob Sturney here with The Score's ongoing coverage of the Champions League. Here we are in the round of 16, first leg. It's Celtic hosting Juventus in Glasgow.
Lineups: Celtic: Forster, Lustig, Wilson, Ambrose, Izaguirre; Brown, Wanyama, Mugrew, Forrest; Commons, Hooper
Juventus: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres; Peluso, Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Lichsteiner; Matri, Vucinic
A draw with goals from Vidal and Hooper.
Samaras's hamstring problem has proved too much for the Greek. He misses out today. Ambrose is back from the African Nations Cup and will play right back, I think. No room for Matthews in the starting line up.
Asamoah has also returned from South Africa, but he's not in Glasgow. Vucinic and Matri get the call over Giovinco. Conte has Juve in a 3-5-2 and Lennon sends out a 4-4-2.
How did Celtic get here? They finished second in group B with two wins over Spartak and the famous one at home over Barca. Juve was first in Group A with three draws and then three wins.
Stick Brown a little deeper, I believe. If they can hold fast against Barca, there's a chance they can do the same versus La Vechia Signora.
Juve wears its all black change kit while Celtic sports the traditional white and green hoops. Forster is in yellow while Buffon is clad in pink.
The crowd is going ape. This is going to be a heck of a match, I think.
Conte has De Ceglie and Chiellin, Pepe and Bendtner out with injuries.
PSG and Valencia is already underway in Spain. I'll keep you abreast of that score.
Here we go. Celtic will be attacking from left to right in the first half. Left to right. Juve will kick us off.
Indeed. He's in the back line.
1 min: Celtic throws in in the attacking half. The Bhoys spread it wide left where Izaguirre is forward. OH! Wanyama stings Buffon's palms with a speculative shot!
2 min: The subsequent corner comes to naught but Ambrose ambles forward to shoot wide left.
3 min: Things are cracklin' already for Celtic. There's a battle on Juve's far touch line. The Bianconeri . . . GOOOOOOAALLLL! It's Marchisio! That man Marchisio!
It should have been Matri but he was cleared off the line. Amrose was at sixes and sevens. He lost Matri. The ball was cleared but Marchisio cleaned up.
5 min: What a bolt to Celtic that was. It was a wonderful long pass for Matri too. OH! Wanyama has another low crack. Buffon smothers it.
6 min: The announcers are about two seconds behind the action on my telly. Juve lose possession in the centre circle. But soon Pirlo is seeking Matri with another long pass.
8 min: The Juve back line pass the ball about with no pressure. Bonucci finally hoofs one forward. Peluso finds Marchisio at the far post but the goal scorer can't volley it true.
9 min: Pirlo can't settle the ball in front of his box and Mulgrew finds occasion to smack one wide.
10 min: OH! Commons now tests Buffon after a nifty move by Celtic. A ball fell to Commons and he thwacked a daisy-cutter at Buffon.
11 min: Celtic sets up shop on Juve's perimeter. They win a corner from the far flag and the ref must tell Hooper and Liechsteiner to knock off the aggro.
12 min: Mulgrew latches onto the ball at the far post and Buffon shows sure hands again.
13 min: Matri can't muscle through the left side of the Bhoys' defense. Lichsteiner is stood up by Izaguirre and Juve get a free kick from very far out.
14 min: Vidal nudges over Brown and now Celtic play the free kick as a patch. Peluso gets in the way of a pass meant for Lustig.
14 min: Neat passes from Juve down the left side but the final Peluso to Matri offering isn't precise.
