Good afternoon footy fans! I'm David Esposto and welcome to theScore Live Blog's continuing coverage of the UEFA Champions League. Today's match features MIlan welcoming Barcelona to the San Siro in the first leg of two in the round of 16.

Can Milan get the win? Or will Barcelona get the important victory away from home?

Allegri has gone with experience over speed, Constant for De Sciglio and playing Boateng up front with tripod attack, including Pazzini as opposed to using Niang and dropping Boateng to creative role, then Ambrosini is in for any younger options

13 mins: Barcelona win the ball back, as Messi shakes off Ambrosini, the visitors switch flanks, but the home side win it back, but just as I type that, the visitors get possession again.

14 mins: Barcelona commit a foul as El Shaarawy is hassled with, so Milan get the ball back on a free kick. They work space down the right and El Shaarawy is through on goal! He carries into the area, but his second touch let's him down. Milan have a corner from it though.

16 mins: El Shaarawy takes the corner and it bounces into the area. Boateng gets a flick on it and plays it to the far post, it nearly goes in, but it just misses the post. Good bit of pressure from Milan there. Nearly rewarded with a goal.

What a pass from Muntari though to set El Shaarawy free down the left flank.
