Round 1 Recap: The tournament began on the first official day of summer and the temperature on the course reflected that. Defending Masters champion Bubba Watson and newly crowned U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson both carded rounds of 4-under 66. Bubba Watson holed his second shot on the Par 4 10th for eagle. David Mathis aced the 158 yard Par 3 11th for his first hole-in-one on Tour. His round of 6-under 64 paced the field through 18 holes. Defending tournament champion Fredrik Jacobson had 7 birdies and a double-bogey for a 5-under 65. He was joined by Will Claxton and Nathan Green in the second spot on the leaderboard.
Round 2 Recap: For the fourth consecutive year there was a weather delay at the Travelers Championship. When play was suspended due to inclement weather on Friday, Fredrik Jacobson's round of 66 was good for the lead at 9-under, and that score held up when the second round completed on Saturday morning. Jacobson held the 36-hole lead with a matching score of 9-under at this event in 2011. Camilo Villegas carded a 64 to move into a share of the second spot on the leaderboard at 8-under with Will Claxton and J.B. Holmes. Holmes' second round 62 made him the low-man in the round.
Round 3 Recap: Nine players shot 65 or better on moving day. Brian Davis carded a 29 on the front-9 to takeover the top spot on the leaderboard. He made bogey on 13 after putting his second shot in the water but answered back with a birdie on 15 for a round of 64. That got him to 12-under and into a share of the lead with Roland Thatcher. Thatcher had the lead at 13-under with two holes to play but he made his first bogey of the day on 17 for a round of 65. Stuart Appleby, James Driscoll, and John Rollins finished the day in a tie for third at 10-under. Fredrik Jacobson, Padraig Harrington, and Matt Kuchar headlined the group at 9-under. Jacobson carded an even-par 70 to fall off the lead, while Harrington's round of 65 featured eight birdies. Bubba Watson shot a 32 on the front nine, bogeyed 12, then answered back from that by ringing off three consecutive birdies for a round of 65 to get to 8-under.
A big move earlier today by Hunter Mahan. He carded a round of 9-under 61 to get into the clubhouse at 10-under.

Bubba Watson with a 31 on his way out. That has him within 1-stroke of the lead.
The players are going low once again today. Marc Leishman's going to need to shave another stroke or two off his score before he gets in if he wants his score to hold up.
Let's pick up play on 16 with Marc Leishman.
161 yard Par 3 16th: Leishman's tee shot is long of hole and he'll face a long birdie attempt when he reaches the green.
Par 4 10th: Bubba Watson missed left from the tee and makes his second shot from the rough. He didn't get all of it and his ball came up short of the green. He went with a putter from just off the green and left himself a tap in for par.

Par 3 16th: Good speed on Marc Leishman's birdie attempt. He tapped in for par.

165 yard Par 3 11th: Bubba Watson's tee shot reached the center of the green. He'll have a long look for birdie.

Par 3 11th: Charley Hoffman with a long look for birdie and his putt slid left. He tapped in for par.
167 yard Par 3 8th: Brian Davis reached the center of the green. He's not happy with his shot and he'll face a long look for birdie.
Par 4 18th: Marc Leishman taps in for par and he's in at 14-under after a round of 62.
Par 3 8th: A two-putt from Brian Davis as he makes par.
406 yard Par 4 9th: Brian Davis kept his tee shot in the center of the fairway.
Par 4 12th: Charley Hoffman with an aggressive second shot, right at the flagstick, and he'll have a few feet to clean up for birdie and the outright lead.
