Captain Ovechkin and his high flying Capitals should provide a huge test for the banged up Senators. Ottawa has done a nice job without Spezza and Alfredsson but start a tough road swing in Washington tonight.

Predictable I guess. Not many other options on that roster. This is clearly his team anyway so there's no harm in giving him the C.
It's going to be a tough stretch for them. Clouston has to find a way to get the match ups he wants, especially tonight against the Caps. Need to have the shutdown pair out there against Ovie whenever possible
Not sure how you can say Laich deserves it anymore than Ovechkin though.
Ottawa is in a good spot right now. If they can find a way to stay in the thick of it till the injured guys come back, they have a very good chance of making it.
Puck drop is a little under 20 minutes away in Washington.

Lazy is not a word you can use to describe Cheechoo. Doesn't have all the skill he used to but he's workin his backside off every game. Even if it is in a fourth line role.
Couldn't tell ya, to be honest.
Not getting much ice time since Neil took his spot on that third line though. All you can hope is that he keeps workin hard.
