THE GOAL: Kovalchuk missed the puck along the boards and it allowed McDonagh rifle it towards the net where Kreider was all alone coming from the corner. He put the perfect tip on it right beside Brodeur!

@keven It's tough picturing ANYbody beating the Kings right now, but you never know in this low scoring games when both teams have stellar goaltending - as evidenced by tonight's game where the Rangers were outplayed for 2 periods.

@ Jonisawsom It has been a couple of stellar shifts in a row by the Devils since the two quick goals.
