American flag getting passed around the lower bowl. Love this.
Fedotenko had a rough game in Game 2. He was demoted to the forth line in practice.
May be back up to the third line soon enough though. Rupp has been moved up.
BETWEEN THE PIPES: It's Marty Brodeur vs. Henrik Lundqvist
19:30 Gaborik starts for the Rangers. He was benched for the third period in Game 2.
19:10 Parise gets the Devils' first chance of the game but it goes wide.
19:05 Callahan with the first shot of the game makes for an easy save. Many believe that Callahan has a broken hand from blocking a Chris Phillips' shot in the Ottawa series. He has only 1G and 2A in his last 12 games.
18:10 Del Zotto just broke up a 2 on 1 by the Devils' Henrique and Clarkson. Great pace to this so far, as expected. Rangers called for icing.
17:00 Expect to the see the Deviils' Dmen to work the easy wristers at the net and try to get those tips out front. It's the perfect adjustment to the Rangers' shotblocking style.
16:45 It's going to be interesting to see how Gaborik reacts to the benching last game.
16:35 Devils win a draw and get the wrister through. Results in another stellar scoring chance with Lundqvist searching for the puck - I don't think he saw that one. I wonder if Phoenix are watching this and taking notes.
15:20 Brodeur grabs the dump in and works the perfect breakout. How awesome is it to see the old vet still holding up out there - it's hard not to cheer for him.
PENALTY: RANGERS - STEPAN
He took down Carter in the neutral zone on a missed puck.
14:00 Jersey are 4th in PP% in the playoffs at an even 20%.
13:50 A few good good scrambles and a few good shot blocks by the Rangers. Devils just went offside.
13:00 Callahan with a great defensive play and the Devils clear - even IF Callahan has a broken hand, he still is a huge value-add for New York.
Bickel has been scratched today and Eminger is in.
11:50 It's crazy to see how much the Rangers' forward group are relying on the rookie Chris Kreider for offense it seems.
Chris Kreider matched an NHL record last game scoring his fourth playoff goal and sixth playoff point without playing in a regular-season game
