Tune in at 8:20 PM ET as the Steelers take on the Bengals. Gino Bottero will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Welcome everyone! I'll be live blogging tonight's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
On Friday the Steelers announced that Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman are both OUT for tonight's game. Jonathan Dwyer will start at running back tonight. Center Maurkice Pouncey, right tackle Marcus Gilbert, and safety Troy Polamalu are all INACTIVE.
For Cincinnati, running back Brian Leonard and wide receiver Armon Binns are both INACTIVE.
Pittsburgh is 2-3. The team has not been more than one game below .500 at any time under Mike Tomlin.
The Steelers are 0-3 on the road this season.
The Bengals have lost each of their last four games against the Steelers.
Baltimore's loss earlier today makes tonight's game even more important in shaping the AFC North playoff picture.
I think we'll be seeing plenty of Ben Roethlisberger tonight with the Pittsburgh running game in shambles.
With all this orange and black combined with the smoke left over from the pre-game ceremonies, this game may be better suited for October 31st.
We could be in for some explosive plays tonight as Mike Wallace and A.J. Green are two of the quickest, and best wide receivers in the game.
The Steelers are without their top two running backs, while the Bengals only have two running backs on their active roster.
They're about ready to begin in Cincinnati. The Bengals won the toss and chose to defer.
14:52 Rainey returned the kick to the PIT 40.
Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh offense with good field position to begin the game.
14:06 Roethlisberger threw to Wallace to the right on a screen and he gained 9, then Roethlisberger threw to Brown on a similarly designed screen to the right and he gained 2 for the 1st down at the CIN 49.
12:49 An end-around for Wallace but the play was blown up in the backfield for a loss of 6, then Dwyer ran to the left for a gain of 7. 3rd and 9 coming up.
He certainly looked good on the return.
