Tune in at 8:30 PM ET as the Eagles take on the Saints. Gino Bottero will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Welcome everyone! I'll be live blogging tonight's game between the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles.
On Thursday, the NFL and players' union announced they would combine to donate $1 million to the American Red Cross to help in the recovery efforts in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. To help support this important cause visit www.redcross.org or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
The Saints have won seven consecutive games on Monday Night Football, the longest active winning streak on Monday night.
A great opportunity for the Eagles to make up some ground in the NFC East tonight. The Redskins, Giants, and Cowboys each lost yesterday.
Atlanta scored on each of their first six possessions against Philadelphia last week.
Michael Vick did not turn the ball over last week against Atlanta, but he still has the third-most turnovers in the NFL with 13.
Check out the link I posted a moment ago for a prediction for tonight's game.
Philadelphia is 28th in the NFL in scoring offense, but New Orleans has been epically bad defensively. It will be interesting to see if the Saints defense steps up, or if the Eagles can solve their offensive woes.
ESPN's panel is split right down the middle in their predictions. Hard to find any consensus on this game. However, most people agree we'll be seeing plenty of points tonight.
Darren Sproles is out with that surprising injury news that dropped mid-week. He could be out up to six weeks with a broken hand.
I don't think I've ever seen Andy Reid look so tight on the sideline. He's normally a calming presence for this team.
