Tune in at 1:00 PM ET as Georgia takes on Nebraska. Gino Bottero will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Welcome everyone! I'll be live blogging the Capital One Bowl between the 16th-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers and the seventh-ranked Georgia Bulldogs.
This game will be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
These teams have only met once before, and that was in the 1969 Sun Bowl.
A win today would give Georgia 12 wins on the season for only the third time in school history.
Nebraska won the toss and has elected to defer to the second half. Georgia will start with the football.
They're about ready to begin in Orlando. Nebraska is set to kickoff.
15:00 No return on the kick.
Aaron Murray and the Georgia offense will begin at their 25 yard line.
Keith Marshall on the field at running back to begin the game, rather than Todd Gurley.
14:23 Marshall took the carry up the middle and he was stuffed for no gain. On 2nd, Murray stepped up in the pocket and threw deep down the left side, into double coverage, and the throw was long.
14:15 Murray hit Marshall on a screen to the left and he had a ton of running room, picking up 21.
13:30 FLAG - Gurley in the Shotgun in the Wildcat, he gave to Marshall who ran right, stiff-armed a defender but then slipped and fell. Gain of 1 on the play. On 2nd, Murray threw down the left side and his receiver was brought down by the defender before the ball was there. A flag came out.
Pass interference called against Nebraska. 1st and 10 Georgia at the NEB 38.
13:15 A stretch run to the right for Gurley went for a gain of 2.
12:49 TURNOVER - Murray tries to stretch the field and doesn't recognize the safety playing centerfield. An easy interception for the Huskers' top-ranked pass defense.
Taylor Martinez and the Nebraska offense will begin at their own 23.
12:22 Martinez hit a man on a screen to the left for a gain of 2, then Martinez scrambled up the middle for no gain. 3rd and 8 coming up.
11:49 Martinez rolled right and threw to the sideline but the pass was dropped.
11:39 SAFETY - The punt was blocked by Georgia, they had a chance to recover the ball in the endzone but the sea of white jerseys pushed the ball out of the back of the endzone for the safety.
Georgia has to be happy with the result, but they wasted an opportunity for the full 6 points there.
UGA SAF - Brett Maher punt blocked
