Tune in at 3:30 PM ET as Florida takes on Georgia. Gino Bottero will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Welcome everyone! I'll be live blogging today's game between the 10th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs and the second-ranked Florida Gators.
This game is being played at Everbank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.
Florida has won 18 of 22 meetings with Georgia since 1990.
Georgia's offense relies on big plays, with 50 plays of 20-or-more yards on the season, tied for the most in FBS.
A Florida win today would send the Gators to their first SEC championship game since 2009.
Georgia won last season's meeting, 24-20.
Georgia defensive standout Jarvis Jones will play today after missing the team's last game against Kentucky with an ankle injury.
Aaron Murray is 0-4 in his career against top-10 teams.
The wind has been blowing pretty strongly throughout the day. There is a 25% chance of rain in the forecast.
A little scrum broke out between the teams as they came out onto the field. This should be a very intense game between these bitter rivals.
They're about ready to begin in Jacksonville. Florida will receive the opening kickoff.
The wind is still blowing strong so expect it to play a factor at least in the early part of the game.
14:56 Florida returned the kick to their 16.
14:51 Near disaster for Florida as Driskel and Gillislee with some miscommunication on the game's opening handoff leading to a fumble, but Driskel fell on it for a loss of 7.
14:04 Driskel hit Burton to the right for a gain of 9. 3rd and 8 coming up.
13:25 FLAG - TURNOVER - A free blitzer comes in from Driskel's blind side and knocks the ball free. Georgia recovered.
Driskel's arm may have been coming forward. The flag was late and came after the play.
On replay it looks like the ball came out before Driskel's arm started to come forward. It's unlikely that this call gets overturned.
The flags were dead ball ball fouls, one aside, so they offset. Looks like Georiga will get the ball at the FLA 20.
The official has finally headed over to the sideline to review this play.
OFFICIAL REVIEW - The ruling on the field stands.
Georgia ball at the FLA 20.
12:32 Gurley tries the right side of the defense but gets taken down for no gain, then Murray connects on a quick-hitter over the middle for a gain of 10 and a 1st down. 1st and Goal for Georgia.
12:02 FLAG - TOUCHDOWN - Gurley takes the give up the middle and meets a wall, but he bounces off it, cuts back and slashes into the endzone for the score. Let's check the flag.
The flag is against Florida. Offside is the call. It's declined. The touchdown stands.
Gurley was flagged for excessive celebration.
UGA TD - Todd Gurley rushed for 10 yards
(2) FLA 0 | (10) UGA 7 | 1st
Gurley did the patented Gator Chomp in the endzone after scoring. That's what brought on the flag.
