Welcome everyone! I'll be live blogging tonight's game between the fifth-ranked LSU Tigers and the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide.
These teams met back in January in the National Championship Game. Alabama won, 21-0. These teams also met 363 days ago in the "Game of the Century." LSU won that meeting, 9-6.
LSU has failed to score a touchdown in each of their last two meetings with Alabama.
These teams have met six times since Nick Saban joined Alabama. LSU has won three of those games by a combined 13 points, while Alabama won their three by a margin of 36 points.
Last year's regular season meeting between these teams brought CBS its highest rating for a college football game since Notre Dame v. Miami in 1989.
Statistically, these are the top two defenses in the SEC. Alabama is allowing 3.52 yards per play, and LSU is allowing 3.69 yards per play. The only other team allowing fewer than 4.0 yards per play is Florida State.
A.J. McCarron leads the nation in passing efficiency at 182.40. He's completed 69 percent of his passes for 1,684 yards and 18 touchdowns without an interception.
Alabama's win over Mississippi State last weekend is their only victory over a team currently ranked in the Top 25, while LSU will be playing their fourth straight game against a ranked team.

14:38 Hill runs right for a gain of 6, then Mettenberger with a quick-hitter to the left and he hits Boone on the a slant for a gain of 9.
14:03 Hill with a stretch run to the left and he hurdles a man before getting out of bounds, gaining 2. On 2nd, Hill ran up the middle for a gain of 4. 3rd and 4 coming up.
