Case you missed it Derek Fisher is suspended and will not play tonight...but Ron Artest who was kicked out of Game 2 will as will Kobe Bryant who got Artest all upset with an elbow. This has been the best series of Round 2 and it should be fun. Magic and Celtics are running a little long so we may have a slight delay getting started.
ESPN says the tip in Houston will be in 18 minutes. They had a countdown clock and everything so who can argue.
Till we get rolling feel free to share you thoughts on this series or anything else basketball related. Magic with no Alston lead 95-81 with under 7 to play in that one.
I have really enjoyed the Ron Ron and Kobe show it has been fun to watch.
Shane Battier was made to look like Stone Cold Steve Austin in game 1 with that nasty cut above his eyebrow and I am no sure if he will ever be able to do the People's eyebrow again.
No doubt this series has had a little bit of a WWE type feel to it as these teams are going after each other. Fisher and his hit on Scola was very real and there was nothing fake about that.
How a Rafer Alston slap to the back of the head = 1 game suspension and what Fisher did equals the same is something I do not get.
Just an update from Orlando the Magic are up 101-83 with 5:20 left in the 4th.
I am sure many Magic fans thought that way about Alston but not so much. I would also say the Lakers have better depth with Farmar.
ESPN in U.S, Canada- Raps TV.
I just think the drop off for the Lakers in not as great as it was for the Magic. Not trying to disrespect Fisher but I think the Lakers have lots of ways to make up for that.
Well that may be. But let's give credit to the Rockets for playing some great D and not allowing a lot of open looks.
I am loving what Artest has brought to Houston. He has taken the focus off of Yao and made it all about him. Ron Artest may be a crazy genius.
That being said I think the Lakers will take this series when all is said and done.
Magic continue to roll up 107-87 on Celtics as we have 3:19 left in Orlando.
The Tip for Lakers and Rockets is According to the ESPN count down clock about 5 minutes away.
No worry of O.T in Orlando.
Ron has said a lot of things including Brandon Roy is tougher to guard than Kobe. I am pretty confident is saying that Ron Ron is wrong on that one and he knows it.
However there is no question that Artest has been huge for Rockets and I would just like to say...T-Mac Who?
I just think the Lakers have another gear and not sure the Rockets have that same gear.
It is a big chance to step up. He does Yoga training stuff maybe that will help him.
Lakers and Rockets are tipping and we have yet to finish Celtics and Magic so I will keep you up to date.
Odom and Alley Opp dunk to get things rolling in Houston.
No Kobe on this one but we have a Gasol jumper.
KB 24 with his first 2 of the night. 6-0 Lakeshow.
Scola and Brooks with back to back scores. Make it 6-4 Lakers.
Magic have won and T.V should be joining in.
Bryant has a 3 ball and Lakers lead is 11-5 as T.V joins in.
Lakers a score in transition make it 13-5.
