Tune in at 5:30 PM ET as the Thunder take on the Heat. James Herbert will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Merry Christmas everybody.
This Knicks/Lakers game has been fun. Will get the Heat/Thunder blog started as soon as this one is over.
Interesting note: Scott Brooks said Kendrick Perkins will start out guarding Chris Bosh, with Serge Ibaka guarding Udonis Haslem. This fact via @tomhaberstroh.
The Thunder are 21-5, and had won 12 in a row before losing to the Wolves last game.
The Heat? 18-6, and they've won their last four.
@craig Yes I believe he will be back in the lineup after missing that Wolves game.
@Gebertx Hmm. I kinda doubt it tonight, but I hope I'm wrong.
Well, we haven't seen any of it on TV yet, but the Heat are on a 7-0 run to start the game.
Thunder starters: Russell Westbrook, Thabo Sefolosha, Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka, Kendrick Perkins
Heat starters: Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Udonis Haslem, Chris Bosh
We've had a Wade layup, a Chalmers three and a James dunk. James assisted on both of his teammates' field goals.
Just two minutes into the game.
Alright, Lakers win 100-94, so we should get this Heat/Thunder game on TV right...now!
Serge Ibaka just scored OKC's first basket of the game on a dunk, assist to Westbrook.
Bosh hits a jumper, assisted by Wade.
Durant loses the ball out of bounds. 9:08 left in the first quarter, Heat up 9-2. Not the start OKC wanted.
Aaaand James hits a long jumper from the left wing. Heat up 11-2.
8:40 left in the first quarter.
Love having Hubie Brown doing commentary for this one.
@Bob doing great, enjoying my NBA Christmas Day. How are you?
@Asad Merry Christmas to you too!
Thunder have started off 1-for-4, with three turnovers.
Make that 1-for-6, as Westbrook misses a floater and Ibaka misses a jumper.
Chalmers gets a layup on the break.
