NBA - Nuggets @ Pacers
7:00 PM ET
- Tune in at 7:00 PM ET as the Nuggets take on the Pacers. Ryan McNeill will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
- Thanks for joining me tonight! I want to get as many comments approved as possible, but a friendly reminder I'll only approve comments that add to the discussion.
- Denver is 3-7 over their past 10 games while Indy is 6-4. Nuggets are on a five game losing streak.
- Denver has been averaging 94.4 points during its current losing streak. A big dip from the 13.6 they are averaging for the season.
- George Karl: "If you don't have energy, maybe we'll have to go somewhere else. It has nothing to do with your skills right now. We need energy to play with tempo and pace and not play like we're in mud or the old guys at the rec center. We've got to run up and down the court. That's what we committed to and that's what got us a lot of our wins this year. I don't think I'm going to back off of it."
- Indiana has held opponents to 88.8 points in home games this season.
- Denver started the season 14-5.
- Nearly 20% of Denver's offense (19%) comes via transition.
- Denver's offense is fairly predictable this season. They either want to get out in transition or they rely on spot up shooting (22%).
- Danny Granger is averaging 18.2 points per game this season but has bumped that to 21.5 over his past ten games.
- Sam Mitchell is on the NBA TV set. Awesome! Wish he was calling the game...
- Sam Mitchell: "When your PG has to facilitate your offense and he's your leading scorer? That means you're in trouble. That's why Denver has lost five in a row."
- Indiana is 9-2 when Danny Granger scores at least 21 points.
- Indiana is 7-2 at home so far this season.
- Arron Afflalo: "The last two home losses we've had, teams have just hit incredible shots. That's a credit to them a little bit, but our defensive intensity, including myself, needs to pick up."
- Afflalo scored a season-high 26 points in his last game.
- David West posted season highs of 22 points and 13 rebounds in Indiana's last game against Memphis.
- According to AccuScore, 75% of fans believe the Pacers will pull out the win. Who do you think will win?
- I've got #Pacers fever! S/O to #ReggieMiller for making the Pacers my favorite team.by th0m_ps0n via twitter 2/12/2012 12:04:49 AM

- IND: Collison / George / Granger / West / Hibbert
- Denver and Indy are rocking throwback jerseys.
- When these teams met last season, Pacers scored 54 points in the third quarter.
- Denver wins the opening tip...
- Brewer's 3 is off the mark; West clears the boards.

- Pacers called for a defensive three second violation.
- Afflalo makes the free throw.
- Nene fakes the elbow jumper and then throws up a tough shot that falls.
- West with a nice power move and he scores.
- Hibbert draws the charge.
- Sorry, that was George who drew it. My bad.
- WOW! Nasty dunk by Paul George that gets the fans fired up.
- They take it away? Hibbert called for a foul on an illegal screen on the weak side.
- Wow, that was still a nasty dunk. Make sure you check it out on YouTube tomorrow.
- Nene answers back with a nasty dunk of his own. This one counts...
- Hibbert with a nice dish to Collison for an easy bucket.
- Nene throws the ball out of bounds....
- Nene has four of Denver's first five points.
- Hibbert goes to work in the post and he is fouled. He's going to have his way on Koufus tonight. Indy needs to keep feeding him the ball.
