Tune in at 8:00 PM ET as the Knicks take on the Heat. James Herbert will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
@hey He will play! Starters coming in a sec.
@hey Oh, wait. David Aldridge said he would play, but now they've ruled him out.
Ira Winderman of the South Florida SunSentinal is saying there's lots of "gamesmanship" with the starting lineups, so I might need to update that again. Shane Battier is available, but might not start.
@Tony Card The Spurs stuck with the Heat without six of their rotation players, so I'd say so.
@m33 Ha, yeah, there's that too.
@coach_potat0 It was a last minute decision. He warmed up and everything.
Looks like Haslem will start, Battier will come off the bench for Miami.
Battier missed the last two games with a sore knee.
@Abb In Canada? They're showing it on TSN as soon as this NHL press conference ends.
@Tony Card It definitely doesn't look as vicious. But it has the potential to get back there.
Alright, so the updated starters:
Knicks: Raymond Felton, Jason Kidd, Ronnie Brewer, Kurt Thomas, Tyson Chandler
Heat: Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Udonis Haslem, Chris Bosh
James with a nifty bounce pass from the left elbow to a cutting Haslem, two-handed dunk by the big man.
Felton misses a midrange jumper, Thomas gets the board and puts it back in to tie the game.
James has trouble handling a pass coming around a screen but he recovers it and gets the ball to Haslem for a layup. Another bucket for Haslem, another assist for James.
Chandler has his shot blocked on the inside.
Bosh misses a 17 foot jumper on the right baseline, James flies in for the rebound and then Wade makes a corner three.
