Just getting set up here but No K.G for Boston today but Pierce,Rondo are in with Allen Wallace and Perkins in the starting 5.
Raps the same starting line-up as usual for them with Calderon coming off the bench.
Raptors have won 8 of 9 games and that one loss is of course to Boston and it was a Boston line-up that was not as good as the one they send out there today. Celtics are 2-0 vs The Raptors this year and have a sizable lead in the Atlantic 7.5 games over 2nd place Toronto. Raps with a win today could move to 5th in the conference leapfrogging Miami.
Feel free to chime in with your thoughts, questions or opinions as we build are way up to tip time at the ACC.
This also marks the first time Paul Pierce and Chris Bosh will line-up against each other since the dunk where Pierce hit Bosh in a place that for any man is not fun...will we seem some pay back?
Winning is always the best revenge but I think most Raps fans would not mind seeing a hard foul on P.P today.
Perkins and Wallace are both tough match-ups for both Bosh and Bargnani who have been very good of late.
Wallace over his career has given Chris Bosh headaches and was a big part of why the Raptors could never seem to beat the Pistons.
Boston is like the Raptors Schoolyard Bully can they smack the bully in the face today?
I give them lots of creidt they have played very well of late but beating the Celtics has not been part of that.
Not a chance in heck this will be an easy win....If the Raptors win they will have to earn it as they did against Orlando and San Antonio.
This is in a lot of ways a statement game for the Raptors to but an "!" on what they have been doing.
For the record Raptors are a perfect 13-0 when they hold teams under 100 and 9-0 when Demar DeRozan hits double figures.
Bryan Colangelo is making a presentation to Chris Bosh on becoming the Raps all time leading scorer as this is the first home game since Bosh broke the record last Sunday.
Chris got a nice plaque and a special basketball to mark the achievement.
Chris Bosh we always be a big part of Raptors history regardless of what the future in 2010 will bring.
Were roughly 5 minutes or so from tip time at the ACC.
Think the Celtics always get up for the Raps as well to make a point as they are really the lone team that is any sort of a quality team in the division...no offense to the Knicks who actually are good of late.
Lot of people excited for this one as am I so let's see how it all goes down.
Think everyone is but truth is they are very good.
O.K not sure if that matter what people are rocking in their Ipods...LOL
Andrea Bargnani is getting some notice and love for his improved play on the defensive end of the floor.
Celtics have one the last 6 in this series with a sweep lat year and winning both match-ups so far this year.
Let's hope Refs don't decide it for ether side.
Tip time is next and Raps getting off to a strong start would be nice to get ACC crowd behind them.
If you got here late...No K.G and Wallace will take his spot all the rest for Celtics starting 5 are in the line-up.
Raps continue with Jack at Starting point guard and the usual other 4 members of their starting 5.
The message if the Raps win....THEY ARE FOR REAL...people will take notice.
I have said that in my blog all through this.
Starting Line-up time for Raps at the ACC.
No I mean in the Dino Nation Blog that I write part of the Score Sports federation....not in this live blog.
This game really has a buzz to it.
Raps seem very loose heading into it think I just saw Sonny Weems do a cartwheel..Not giving him a 10 for that.
A rare tech for Andrea in the last game in Philly he has ben much more emotional of late.
