Now an injury update for the Raps. It is a bit of a list.
Barbosa is OUT with a shoulder injury seen at shoot around today in a sling take that for what you will.
Jack has a bad knee but he is playing and I would assume starting.
Kleiza was a game time decision and he has been green lighted.
and David Andersen is out with the flu.
You thought I was kidding when I said it was a long list.
Both teams are 1-6 and labouring The Bobcats one 1 win was the road and the Raptors 1 win was at the ACC.
Both these teams are turnover prone. Bobcats 18 and Raptors 16.7 Per Game on the young season.
Bobcats come in on off a 4 point loss to the Spurs and the Raptors dropped their 5th straight to Golden State on Monday.
Only 2 teams worse then these 2 in the NBA the T-Wolves and Clippers are 1-7 and that is what the loser of this game tonight will be and all alone in the basement of the Eastern Conference.
These two almost made a deal in the summer and 3 of those players will be on the floor today Evans and Calderon for the Raptors and Diaw for the Bobcats.
It was a trade that never happened as the Bobcats got cold feet and the Raptors were left holding the bag and stuck with Jose Calderon. But having Reggie Evans has been good to have for Toronto. You wonder where their rebounding would be without him.
That was the other big news off the floor with MLSE that Richard Peddie is being reported as stepping down. What that means for the Raptors, Colangelo and Jay Triano is unknown.
I would close my eyes but that would make doing this blog next to impossble.
