Jimmie Johnson is on the pole today, followed by Brian Vickers, Kyle, Burton, Hamlin, Kenseth, Stewart, Bowyer, Menard and Almirola

Last driver to start 20th or worse and won at Martinsville was Jimmie Johnson in 2007 when he started 20th & won spring race.
Engines have been fired up.

3/500 laps - Johnson leads the first lap and gets a championship point there.
4/500 laps - Little contact between Bowyer and Hamlin, nothing major though.

9/500 laps - Bowyer not too happy with Hamlin not giving him room.
12/500 laps - Jeff Gordon has moved up to 8th spot after starting 11th.
17/500 laps - Dale Jr. moves up to 12th after starting 20th.

21/500 laps - Keselowski being told that he is half a lap behind the leader.
29/500 laps - Jeff Gordon is charging, he's now moved up to 3rd place.
31/500 laps - Kyle Busch reporting that he's loose, but his car is getting better.
32/500 laps - Johnson begins lapping cars.
33/500 laps - Gordon tries to pass Vickers for 2nd spot and he does.
35/500 laps - Biggest mover so far is Jr, up to 10th after starting 20th.

CAUTION - Stremme with a right front.
This caution was a huge break for Brad. 5 cars separated him and the leader Johnson.
