Gene Haas told @DanicaPatrick to start and park, but she declined to.
In the occurence that she does wreck, she'll have to start the Daytona 500 at the back.

@gwen6: Not sure, as I am not on the development side for the app, but I would assume it means that they're not in the 1st Duel, but the 2nd. They're 2 separate events on the blog.

Danica to crew: "I'm gonna race up here. As long as I can stay up front it's the safest place to be."
In case you missed it, Juan Pablo and Dale Jr. will start at the rear because of engine swaps.

@Jeff: Yup, that's correct.
1/60 laps - Bayne on the outside, and he is now the new race leader, but here comes Danica.
2/60 laps - Bayne leads the first lap, but Danica is right behind him.
2/60 laps - Hamlin currently drafting with Bayne and it's working, Bayne is your new race leader.
@Jeff: Haas didn't want her do, she did though, so let's see.
3/60 laps - Hamlin moves in on the inside, and he is challenging Bayne for the lead
4/60 laps - Johnson and Harvick move to the middle of the pack to "try new things"
5/60 laps - A lot of 3-wide racing going down in the middle of the pack, Johnson in 11th in the middle of the 3-pack.
5/60 laps - Bayne currently leads the field, single file up front, for now.
7/60 laps - Bayne still leads it, the outside line seems to be the faster line right now.
8/60 laps - Stewart and Danica continue to draft, but are staying well back of the front.
8/60 laps - Up at the front is Bayne and Mears, they're looking really good right now.
9/60 laps - For a driver that seems to hate drafting, Jimmie is spending a lot of time 3-wide.
10/60 laps - Stewart and Danica now hanging back 21 & 22.
