Tune in Friday at 7:00 PM EST as the Kansas City Royals take on the Toronto Blue Jays. Scheduled starters are Zack Greinke (8-1, 1.10 ERA) for Kansas City and Ricky Romero (2-2, 4.15 ERA) for Toronto. Drew Fairservice from
Ghostrunner on First will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Well well well - it's a glorious night for baseball. Let's get right to it, shall we? Drew here from Ghostrunner on First to guide you as our beloved Jays battle the Fightin' Grienkes!
Just so everyone knows - I moderate the comments. If I don't like it, it ain't gettin in. Make if funny, make it relevant and try to spell at least 50% of the words right.
How about some lineups. First the punchless Royals. They rank toward the bottom in average, on base, slugging and weighted on bas percentage in all of baseball. They sure can pitch though!

And the Toronto Blue Jays. Vernon Wells is back into the cleanup hole, Adam Lind moves back fifth despite going 5-5 yesterday. Lind has hits in 8 straight at bats. Cuz he's awesome

Kevin MILLAH stays in as the DH though he's mercifully moved down to 8th. Aaron Hill comes in riding an 0-20 skid. That's kind of the deal with Aaron Hill. You just gotta ride out the streaks. Alex Rios struck out 5 times yesterday and hates your children.
I heard a rumour that the chump who chirped Rios outside the ROM is a fat chump
chump
The 1989 Jays are on hand to ring in the dome's 20th birthday. Tom Henke looks like he could step in an pitch the 7th tonight. He and Brandon League would form quite the begoogled duo
Girl.
For the record, I found that Rios video and sent the link to Stoeten. I just feel the need to gloat about that.
Of course I also spelled Greinke's first name "Zach" in the opening post before I corrected it just now so I guess I came out even today
Where do we stand on the Hangover? I'm cautiously optimistic. Zack Galifinkakos is amazing.
Todd Phillips is hit and miss but mostly hit
It's getting ridiculous reviews. I definitely want to see it.
I read a MEH review on the AV Club but other writers there claimed it was great.
You should definitely audition. Unless you're auditioning for Glengarry Glen Ross. I don't like your chances there
Covelli Crisp leads off the the Royals. He's got a slight case of the crazy
Tony Fernandez is in the house, close to my favorite Blue Jay of all time
Hum: Is it "The Chipper Jones Monologues"? I hear that's big on off-off-off-Broadway
You see, because I'm calling Chipper a... you know what, nevermind.
Lil Romeo needs to throw strikes, it's always been the knock against him. He falls behind quickly but evens the count with a high fastball
Chipper Jones is best commenter in the history of Walkoffwalk.com I HIT 400 YOU SEE
I'm actually PVR'ing this game to watch later so I'd better go before the spoilers. I just wanted to check in to see if there was any Rios video buzz... lates
The Royals, like the Jays, had a hot April. At least the Jays had the good sense to wait until June to collapse
Later Scott, thanks for the input
Romero stays with the high fastball and strikes out Coco. Good start for RR
I'll just say it: that video is everything I hate about the internet
Mr. Replacement Level himself - Willie Bloomquist lines a base hit the other way on the first pitch. I didn't even have time to mock him! One on, one out for the stud Billy Butler
Obviously he overreacted, but at least it showed that Rios took his bad game home with him. Isn't that always the knock against Rios?
Romero's behind Travis Snider Alpha 3-0.
I love love love Billy Butler. There was trade talk around him this spring, I would have given whatever they wanted. He throws a strike but it's still 3-1
