Tune in Tuesday at 7:00 PM ET as the Toronto Blue Jays take on the New York Yankees. Scheduled starters are Roy Halladay (14-9, 3.03 ERA) for Toronto and Sergio Mitre (3-2, 7.02 ERA) for New York. Drew Fairservice from
Ghostrunner on First will be liveblogging for your enjoyment.
Hey Hey Kid. Jays v. Evil Empire coming at ya! Halladay!
Lineups? Lineups you ask? How about some Cito Madness:
M. Scutaro ss
A. Hill 2b
A. Lind dh
V. Wells cf
L. Overbay 1b
E. Encarnacion 3b
R. Barajas c
J. Bautista rf
T. Snider lf
Yup, that's Travis Snider hitting behind fill-ins and good for nuthins. BLUE JAYS MAGIC!
What manner of oppressive talent have the Yankees set upon the Earth?
D. Jeter ss
J. Damon lf
M. Teixeira 1b
A. Rodriguez 3b
H. Matsui dh
J. Posada c
R. Cano 2b
N. Swisher rf
B. Gardner cf
Brett Gardner. Hey, nobody's perfect
Sergio Mitre starts for the Jankees, which is good news for Blue Jays fans because he sucks. The Jays tagged him for 9 runs in 3+ innings last time out.
Halladay's last start against the Yankees? Not bad at all.

Bautista is all on base. His walk rate is impressive but that is it. Two home runs last week which doubled his season total. He can play right field somewhat, but really?
Brief moment of controversy today as John MacDonald's name disappeared from the 40 man roster posted to MLB.com. We (the nerds of the world) are told it's an IT issue
A lot of lineup stuff, when researched, turns out to be counterintuitive. Me? I like getting good hitters as many at bats as I can. Higher in the order=more at bats.
If you don't love Lyle Overbay I don't know what to tell you
Marco Scutaro leads off and we're ready to go. Can't make errors with the bat Marco, good thing
First pitch is a strike!
Second pitch is a base hit to right field
Scutaro is back on the horse and back on the way to Type A free agency.
One on for Aaron Hill
First pitch to Hill is a strike
Mitre bounces a slider then pitches out. I can't see Scutaro running now or ever
Hill fouls a ball away to even the count at 2
Hill fouls a couple more pitches off to the left. Mitre is a soft tosser
Mitre works very, very slowly. Guess who hates that?
Hill lined a ball into the dugout so Randy Ruiz is now wearing a catcher's mask
Hill pops a shallow fly to right field. Swisher can't find it but Robby Cano chases it down to make a nice basket catch. Good work by Cano, whom Yankee fans claim to be a loafer
One down for Adam Lind, who is effin great.
Adam Lind picked up his 100th RBI last night on an opposite field home run. He hits them that way better than any other Blue Jay
Lind reaches for a sinker down and away. Fly ball to Damon is the second out of the inning. Two down for Vernon Wells
Yankee fans aren't afraid to think lots of people are loafers. EVERYONE BUT JETAH
Yankee Stadium is so awesome. Fully uniformed NYC Cop is wearing a lanyard around his neck. Uniform? NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Wells grounds out to Alex Rodriquez at third to end the inning. One hit, no blood. To the bottom of one!
Here we go, Halladay o'clock.
First pitch is a two seamer for a strike. Get ready for some sweet pwnage
Jeter knocks a swinging bunt that Halladay can't make a play on. Good fortune for Jeter. PS Of all the things Halladay does well, fielding isn't one of them,
Damon is up next and he fouls the first pitch off. His bat exploded like it ate a bad burrito
Damon lines a single through the hole on the left side. Two on for Teixeira
Damon lost his balance and twisted his ankle on his way out of the box. He looks okay. First inning jam for Halladay
