1 mins: Early corner for Portugal on the right, after Moutinho forces a clearance from the Spanish defence. It's played into the area, but Casillas tips over the bar, so another corner in succession for the Portuguese.

3 mins: Silva tries to find Negredo with a through ball down the left, but its well blocked out by the Portuguese defence.

7 mins: Spain begin their traditional passing game. Jordi Alba then tries a high through ball for Silva but its well tracked by Portugal, who clear away.

10 mins: Throw in for Portugal deep in the Spanish half. Coentrao to deliver. He finds Nani in close, and its cleared brielfy, as Portugal are forced to go backwards.

15 mins: Arbeloa takes on Coentrao down the right. After some tussling, the free kick goes Portugal's way. Good defending there from the Real Madrid man.

Ronaldo hits it and the ball smashes off the wall and goes out for a Portugal throw-in. Portugal then win a corner, from the left. Moutinho to deliver...

19 mins: Spain break away with Silva down the left. He lays it off for Alonso, but he loses possession, and Portugal start on the counter down the left with Nani He takes on two defenders and gets beyond them, but he's tackled by Ramos, no call is given. Play on says the referee.

22 mins: Coentrao collects the throw in from Ronaldo down the left. he tries a kick and run tactic, but he's muscled off the ball. The ball goes out for a throw in and the Portuguese win it back.

25 mins: Iniesta's pass just before the half way line is intercepted by Nani who makes a strong run towards the Spanish half. He plays it off to the right for Perreira, he crosses into the area, but its cleared away by the Spaniards.
