Welcome back to the Score's ongoing coverage of the EPL. Chelsea vs. West Brom today at the Hawthorns. Unfortunately, no Lukaku today, as he's ineligible to face his parent club, so Shane Long starts as the home side's lone striker. Would have loved to see Lukaku today, but there's always Odemwingie, right?

For West Brom, Boaz Myhill starts in place of the injured Ben Foster. Not much else in the way of major changes. The side, however, come into this one having won 5 of 6 at home.

Cheslea, on the other hand, will be without the services of John Terry and Frank Lampard. The older gentleman of the team are still recovering from injuries and will be weeks away from full fitness. Cole is just getting back from a slight knock, so he starts on the bench, as does Mata and Oscar. Curious no doubt, but don't dismiss second half substitutes for Di Mateo.

Mata and Oscar are benched to start this match. Just giving a different look against West Brom after the side's 1-1 draw against Liverpool last week. Can't see much in it other than RDM giving his side some rest is all.

6 min: West Brom are defending fairly high in the midfield, forcing the Blues to make that extra pass. Good pressure from the home side early on. Mulumbu is already joining attacks well without the ball. Marauding big man looks fit.

8 min: Chelsea have two shots in the box blocked: one off the line and one at the top of the box. Call for a handball on the last block by Tamas. No way. West Brom now come out flying, spreading the ball from right to left, but it's an errant cross to no one that gives the Blues the ball.

Some suspect marking from Chelsea on their right wing, sees a quick pass into the box to Morrison, a lovely cross to Long, who dives and heads home the first of the match. Wonderful stuff.
