1 mins: GOAL! United 1-0! 33 seconds is all it took! United straight from the kickoff attack the West Ham goal. A ball is played through to RVP, who pulls off a superb touch to get beyond Reid, it took a deflection off Collins and Jaaskelainen couldn't reach it. RVP with the goal.

9 mins: Play breaks down as Jaaskelainen clears. Jarvis then takes on Rafael down the left and wins the foul. Free kick for the visitors, from the left side of the United half. Taylor to deliver... It's played into the near post and Nolan gets a toe on it to poke it through and it nearly catches the corner, but hits the side netting. Clever piece of play that, good to see from the Hammers.

15 mins: United probing the West Ham half again, the visitors with everyone behind the ball now. RVP has a cross from the right to the far post, but its cleared away. Taylor then with a superb ball for Jarvis, whose got plenty of width down the left. Game starting to open up now.

19 mins: West Ham working the ball around, as they enjoy possession. They then win a throw in deep down the left flank, as Rafael plays it out. Jarvis then delivers a great cross that poses some issues for United. In the end the ball comes back to Diame, who tries to set up Nolan, but its blocked and cleared by United.

21 mins: West Ham have a corner after an overhead attempt by Carroll causes Lindegaard some issues, as he has to tip the looming ball over the bar.
