Game on!
mins: Arsenal on the ball now, as Walcott tries to curl it behind Vertonghen, but its dealt with by Spurs, as they have a throw in deep in their own half.
mins: Sandro clatters into Wilshere at the halfway line, Howard Webb gives the home side the free kick.
mins: Sandro is whistled for a foul again, this time deeper in the Spurs half. Arteta to deliver, but its headed away immediately by Sandro. Adebayor starts up the pitch, followed by a chorus of boos from the Arsenal faithful.
mins: Walker tries to make a run down the right, but its cancelled out, as the Gunners regain possession. A run from Walcott down the left is whistled for the offside, as the guests have the ball in their own half, on the left flank
mins: Spurs on the ball now, their first real foray into the opposing half. Vermaelen then clatters into Lennon, and the guests have their first free kick of the match in Arsenal territory. Bale to deliver...
mins: Poor delivery from Bale as Giroud heads away immediately. The ball then falls to Huddlestone outside of the area, who strikes. It takes a deflection but finds Gallas in the area, who scores, but its not going to count, as the former Arsenal man is called offside.
mins: GOAL! Spurs 1-0! Adebayor scores against his former team! Vertonghen with a high through ball over the top, Defoe does well to get beyond Mertesacker and open his body up. He shoots on goal and its saved by Szczesny, but he can't hold onto the ball and Adebayor is there to pounce on it and put it in the net.
Arsenal 0 Spurs 1 (Adebayor 10')
mins: Lennon nearly makes it 2-0! Spurs showing bags of pace, as they continue to drive Arsenal's defence backwards. Lennon collects the ball on the right, steps over and nearly catches the far post, but just misses.
mins: Arsenal showing signs of life now after starting brightly. Arteta tries a long through ball, but Giroud can't latch onto it.
mins: RED CARD! Adebayor is sent off! Oh my this changes things! A 50/50 ball between Cazorla and Adeboyor, sees the Togo striker go high with both feet off the ground, studs up and catches the Spaniard. Unnecessary and wreckless tackle. Foot off the floor right into Cazorla's ankle. What a silly challenge that was.
Spurs down to ten now, very early on. Clear red card that. Referee had no choice but to give it.
mins: Walcott strides down the right, but Vertonghen is there to keep pace with the Englishman. He crosses, but its blocked, as Arsenal have a corner from the left. Its drifted into the area, but cleared straight away.
mins: Good block by Huddlestone, as the ball is played into the path of Vermaelen, who fires on goal but its blocked well by the English midfielder.
mins: GOAL! Arsenal equalize! Mertesacker! Great run by Walcott down the right, who crosses into the area and finds the big German defender unmarked in the area. He rises up and heads it past a diving Lloris into the top right corner. All square at the Emirates.
