I'm Rob Sturney here with the Score's continuing coverage of the EPL. Today we have Arsenal hosting Liverpool in North London.
Both won their last EPL tilts, but Liverpool was heaved out of the FA Cup by Oldham while Arsenal handled Brighton.
Lineups: Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs; Wilshire, Ramsey; Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski; Giroud
Liverpool: Reina, Agger, Carragher, Johnson, Wisdom; Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing; Sturridge, Suarez
This is the same line-up for Arsenal that beat West Ham. Rodgers brings in Carragher for Skrtel, who must've picked up a knock. Johnson is good to go after knee problems and Reina returns from nose and thigh problems. Luis Enrique is on the bench, but Wisdom will start.
And, no, Reds fans, there's no Coutinho yet.
In their last three EPL matches, the sixth place Gunners have lost to Man City and Chelsea before beating West Ham. Seventh spot Liverpool beat Sunderland, lost to Man United and thumped Norwich.
Wenger still has Fabianski out with a bad ankle, Arteta is almost ready to return from a calf injury, Coquelin misses through a hamstring twang and Gervinho is at the African Nations Cup.
Arsenal are in their traditional red and white, with Szczesny sporting all green. Liverpool are in their change black uniforms and Reina is clad in yellow.
Walcott has scored ten goals while Giroud and Cazorla have eight markers for the Gunners. Suarez leads the way for Liverpool with 16 goals.
Arsenal will attack from left to right in the first half. Left to right. They'll kick us off as well.
1 min: Gerrard fouls Wilshire on the edge of the centre circle. Arsenal can't progress very far.
2 min: Gibbs' foray down the left flank is checked by Wisdom. Sagna comes forward to lend weight to the attack.
3 min: Liverpool send the ball back to Reina to distribute and Arsenal soon has occasion to do the same. Suarez wins a corner at the near flag.
4 min: Giroud heads it away but Liverpool keep pressing. Sturridge concedes a goal kick to end the threat.
5 min: Downing turns inside with the ball. Suarez makes a terrible pass, only Sagna's slips lets it get through . . .
GOOAAALLLL!!! Suarez! It's that man Suarez who takes advantage of shambolic Arsenal defending.
OH! And Walcott shoots on Szczesny who saves well!
Nothing results from the subsequent corner kick and the play ends with Wilshire offside.
8 min: Plenty of action at the beginning of this match. Walcott tries to crash through Johnson, but cannot. Arsenal must regroup on the attack.
9 min: The Suarez goal started with his poor pass that found Johnson on the overlap. Johnson's cross found Sturridge, who couldn't shoot, but the ball came to Suarez who slotted it home.
10 min: Sagna throws in in the attacking end. Sagna's cross nearly skitters through. Down the other end Suarez picked out Sturridge who can't dispatch the pass. Szczesny seemingly gave the ball back to Sturridge.
12 min: OH! Cazorla found Podolski on the left, who cuts it back to Giroud. The one time shot misses the net from the top of the box. Nice set up.
It was Szczesny mucking about with the ball that got him in trouble with Sturridge.
14 min: There's a long pause and then a drop ball that Arsenal plays back to Reina.
Johnson was down during all that.
15 min: They teams cancel each other out in the middle of the park. Now Wilshire scampers forward seeking Cazorla. No dice on that sortie and they'll regroup.
16 min: Arsenal seeing plenty of the ball but can't find a lane through. Sagna meets Wilshire's pass on the right hand side, but can only cross into a Red. The ball goes out the back and though Liverpool heads the corner kick out, Giroud and company create another, this one from the far flag.
18 min: Cazorla found Vermaelen clear in the box, but the Belgian can't get the shot through. Walcott's shot is pushed wide by Reina and Arsenal has another corner that comes to naught.
19 min: Suarez led a strong counter attack but it was Downing's cross from the left that made it fizzle out.
20 min: Johnson can't trap a cross on the left and an Arsenal counter makes it as far as Reina's arms as the Spanish keeper plucks a cross out of the air.
21 min: Gerrard splashes over Wishire again in the centre circle. Arsenal plays it as a pass. Podolski turns inside from the left but Reina and Wisdom pass it back and forth. Arsenal has the majority of the ball, that's for certain.
23 min: Reina hits the restart button again but Sagna emerges with the ball. Cazorla finds Podolski on the left and the German has eyes for Giroud. Knocked out the back for yet another Gunner corner. That comes to nothing.
